Hamann Replica Side Skirts

Adding Hamann Replica Side Skirts to my car was a fix it modification. After I installed the Rieger Rear Bumper, my car was screaming for lower side skirts. The Rieger Rear Bumper would be a good 3-4 inches lower than my stock side skirts. It looked horrible.

Here is my car before I installed the side skirts. Notice how the stock side skirts are significantly higher than the front and rear of the car.

The stock side skirts don't look so bad, they just sit too high compared to the rest of the car.

Here is a shot of the front corner of the car.

Here are the Hamann Replica Side Skirts sitting on my pool table. They are well made and sturdy, pretty good for parts made from fiberglass.

I had to drill holes through the fiberglass to match the factory mount points.

Here is the stock side skirts made of plastic.

Here is my car after removing the side skirts.

I used Liquid Nails and other adhesives to glue the side skirts to the factory clips.

I made sure to use as much adhesives as possible to eliminate the side skirts from ever falling off.

The ends of the side skirts didn't seem to want to stick, so I had to put metal screws into the ends.

Here is the side skirts installed. Personally, I think it is much cleaner looking than stock.

Here are some random shots at night.

From different angles, the side skirts still look much higher than the rear bumper, but much better than before.

Another view from the top.

I switched back to amber bulbs because I was pulled over and given a warning for blue bulbs.

The DDE's really aren't that bright, the camera really makes them look ridiculous.

Another picture from the side.

A shot from the rear.

A picture of the full length of the car.
