Broadway Rearview Mirror

Abstract - Safety has always been one of my primary concerns. Most freeway accidents happen because someone can't see someone else.

Purchase - Bought in a small Chinese bookstore in Focus Plaza, San Gabriel.

Parts - Broadway 20" wide angle mirror.

Installation - This mirror takes about 5 seconds to install. On the back of the mirror there are two spring loaded latches that attempt to grab on to the factory mirror.

Impressions - As the picture shows, the new view is just incredible. I can see most of my blind spots that I had before. When I drive other cars, I feel much more worried that I can't see all the cars behind me.

Conclusions - Why aren't all factory mirrors made this large? Well, my guess is that the DMV might have strict requirements on large mirrors blocking the driver's front view. Sometimes the mirror does block a badly placed street signal. This has only really happened in Boston where public roads really suck.

Some people say these mirrors are quite "ricey", but I'd rather be safe.
